CC syncing -106707 files?!

Why is something trying to sync 106707 files. For 62 hours?! First of all what is CC trying to sync? Whats the purpose? I'm not in any need to share my files in any cloud service as that is pretty much like saying bye bye to file security. So why is CC installer trying to force this sync process on me on this massive scale? 106727 files of what? Locale files on the C:drive? Needless to say I paused this. But how do I STOP it and what's the purpose with this?

There is an option for turning sync on/off under preferences in your CC app.

But where does CC sync from? I mean were talking 106727 files here. Quite worrying. Can't really see any purpose.
