my creative cloud desktop app will not enable the sync feature. It says I need to rename my folder? How do I fix and repair this?

Hi Sean,

What does it show in the preferences for the file location?

If click the little icon at the end of the field, choose change and direct it to the Creative Cloud Files folder in your user directory does it make any difference?

Thanks for the info Sean,

You might test if the same thing occurs in a newly created administrator account. Are you on Windows or Mac? Does your current user account have administrator rights?

I'd probably try uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app too if that isn't something you've tried already. This document has instructions how: Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

Hello,

I am experiencing the same issue. It is affecting my Lightroom Mobile syncing. I tried your instructions above and they do no work. Are there any other solutions?
