creative cloud files dont update through desktop folders

I have an alias I use for active clients, which is in my creative cloud desktop folder. Nothing updates. I attached a pic.Screen Shot 2014-04-26 at 12.22.03 PM.png

I was just trying to figure out the same thing, but from what I understand, the alias file is a Mac OS file, and therefor will ONLY work inside the Mac. Moving an alias outside of the Mac - creative cloud files counts a such - will result in Adobe not being able to read the file outside of your computer.

Which really sucks, because it would solve soooo many of my current sync issues.
