I have a 12 year old Mac running InDesign and PhotoShop from CS 4.0.  I recently upgraded my system to 10.13

Now both Photoship and Indesign will load up but when I try to have it run a previously created document residing on my desktop, it says it is up and running but nothing appears on the screen except empty boxes where the tools should appear and no document shows up.  HELP!

Did you check the requirements for that VERY OLD version before you updated your operating system?

I don't think CS4 will work on Mac 10.13

Try wiping old Adobe software from your system with the Adobe cleaner tool and then reinstalling CS4.

NOTE: Creative Suite installers won't work on macOS Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without terminal workarounds. See the help article below for details.
