How about a new feature in Adobe CC Libraries:
Colour swatches in CC Libraries might contain information for multiple colour modes in one single swatch: CMYK, RGB, HEX, ...
When exporting the file, you choose the colour profile and the CC Apps use the right colour information automatically.
Advantage:
- In Illustrator, for example, files could be edited independently from the document colour mode and then exported for different applications without having to optimize it for print or web.
- One single logo file would be enough, because it already contains all colour information for all applications.
