I have been using Creative Cloud for over a year. I am just now trying to use the File Sync option. In the CC menu bar program, File Sync will not turn on. I click the radio button in preferences and I've tried hitting the "Start Syncing" button. Neither ever turns it on. Suggestions?

Hi Colin,

Please try the following workaround:

MAC

1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop application.

2. In Terminal, copy and paste this command:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync/options.tix

3. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop application and start syncing.

WINDOWS

1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop application.

2. Open the Start menu, and type 'cmd' in the search box, then enter to start a command prompt.

3. Copy and paste this command at the command prompt:

del %APPDATA%\Adobe\CoreSync\opt

Thanks, Rajshree, for the links. But, none of these help. I had already read through the last one and the first two discuss issues that would come up after my problem: File Sync will not turn on in the first place. My tools menu always says "File Sync is Off" and even when I hit the radio button in prefs to turn on file syncing, it won't turn on.

Hi

Just saw your post. I have had the same problem (Re: Unable to start Creative Cloud sync on Mac OSX). Still no solution as yet. I've tried all of the suggestions in this post but none solve the problem. Have you managed to resolve the issue?
