How do I stop documents starting up the backed up versions of my Creative Cloud apps - whilst backup is running?

Every time my backup runs on my Mac, any Creative Cloud documents I double click automatically start the app which is on the back up drive, sometimes when the main on (on my main HD) as already open. A real pain. Any hint as to how to stop this? Once the Backup drive un-mounts, all is well of course. PS, I use Carbon Copy Cloner, not Time Machine.

Hi,

Can you tell me if you have moved the Creative Cloud folder location like I'm my image below?
