How frequently does app check for an internet connection?

How frequently does the Adobe CC app (or your other apps that require a connection) 'listen' for an internet connection? I'm working on the UX for a similar app, and I think we need to have a 'listener' built in...but I don't know how frequently it should check for a connection, and our devs don't know either.

Thanks, not quite the question I was asking, though.

I'm curious about how often an Adobe app checks for a connection while it's running. I've noticed that if I lose my connection, the app seems to know right away. For example, is it every seconds...every 3 seconds, etc?
