Illustrator v.24.2 , Photoshop v.21.2.0 running slow

Hi, I tried some of the suggestions to improve the performance and also uninstall and reinstall both software but the issue still. Everything is running very slow, almost preventing me to work! Saving is taking a minute or so to complete.

My system:

iMac Retina 5K

Processor 3.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel

Memory: 64 GB 2400 MHZ DDR 4

Mac OS Catalina

Please, help!!!
