Restoring fonts in CS5

Hello,

We purchased a new cpu and transferred everything correctly but at least half of my fonts a missing.

Does anyone know how to restore fonts for Adobe CS5 on a pc?

Fonts are not a function from CS5 but from your OS. There are a couple of fonts coming with CS5, but you need to install them using the OS.

 

Please tell us more about your operating system and version, the software and version. Please use EXACT version numbers. "Latest version" does not tell us that you really have the latest version and will no more be true at the next version level.

Go to the Search bar at the top of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx to find an article to tell you how to install fonts

Open Windows File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\Fonts, and then copy the font files you want from the Fonts folder to a network or a thumb drive. On the second computer, drag the font files to the Fonts folder, and Windows will automatically install them.

 

Restart your computer.
