Shared Assets not syncing?

I am trying to share a small amount of images between LR and CC.

I have one collection in LR which I have designated as shared

there are just a few images in that collection.

It has been a few days and that collection appears on my ios LR CC, but there is nothing in the collection.

Also LR states it is syncing indefinitely, I left my computer on over night with just LR running and in the morning the was a system error stating it was out of program memory.

New computer (iMac 27)

all software is up to date
