It doesn't worked for me - I've tried your solution, but nothing happens. I'm working in a danish solution - it might give some trouble with the Terminal and the command line?

I'm working on a Mac version 10.9.4

With pleasure.

The CC app starts, the section APPS is working fine, I can update apps and download new. Apart from some updates pop-up every day even they are downloaded and installed.

Section Home never goes further loading screen. Nothing happens.

Section Assets shows start screen but when I push Start Sync it goes to loading screen and thats that. Nothing happens.

In Preferences there is empty string near File locations, when I try to change file locations, App hunts up, freezes and even Force quit does not work.

Assets/Fonts - not working, loading forever.

Macbook Air 2013, 100Mbit internet, direct access.

That's it.

Thanks.

It certainly sounds as though you're experiencing the same issue for which the workaround below should resolve.  Would you mind going through the steps again?  If need be we could arrange a connect session.

MAC

1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop application.

2. In Terminal, copy and paste this command:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync/options.tix

3. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop application and start syncing.
