Before you sync, save those files somewhere else too. My files 'synced' all the way BACK to May! Really glad I saved the latest files somwhere else first - but all the ones in between are gone.

Hi Charine,

in order to help us understand this issue, and provide a resolution, can you tell me what OS you're on and send me your coresync log file. My email is djack@adobe.com?  You will find the log file here:

Mac:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log

Windows:

%APPDATA%/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log

Hi Derek,

I have emailed the file that you requested.

Upon digging further, I found a new folder in my user files named Creative Cloud Files (archived) with all my latest files in.

  1. So wasn’t as bad as it looked, but still newer files should not be pushed into archives to be replaced with old files

Thank you for your support

Charine

Hi,

I got your email, unfortunately the file wasn't a log file, but a system file.  You will find the log file at:

%APPDATA%/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log

If you can email me the .log file, that would be great.
