This is on Windows, not sure if the same problem exists on the Mac.
Steps to reproduce
1. Install Creative Cloud
2. Go to Preferences › Creative Cloud › Files
3. Set Sync to Off
4. Open Windows Explorer (not IE, Windows' file manager)
There's a Creative Cloud Files item with icon in the left navigation pane. Clicking on it shows that it's empty.
Expected Results
There should not be a Creative Cloud Files item in the left navigation pane when file syncing is off.
