When I install Creative Cloud app I get the Search Mine malware. This has happened mutiple time on my iMac requiring me to go through the process of removing the malware. This morning I removed Creative Cloud and downloaded a new install from Adobe.com. Immediately I have Search Mine malware installed.

Why is this happening?

This has nothing to do with Adobe.  This is a browser hijacking issue unrelated to Creative Cloud.  It sounds like your computer was infected long before now with a persistent malware.
