Hi,

I have 5 small files (500k) in my windows Creative Cloud folder. CC gear menu shows "0% of 2gb - some files failed to synch" message and just stays there. I've tried turning file synch off and on again, rebooted, etc. all with no impact.

Help?

Hi Tim,

Is there anything in this article related to the files which might explain why?  Names of the files, special characters, etc.?

Error: "Unable to sync files" to the Adobe Creative Cloud

Best,

- Dave

Hi Dave, I can't access that URL (internal?). But there's nothing strange about the files: 3 jpg's and 2 Adobe XD files, no special characters in the names or etc.

Sorry Tim, I fixed the URL so it should work now. Does renaming the files to something like test.jpg make any difference? Are the files collaborated with anyone else?

No, none of those issues are here. And the error messages don't help either as I'm not getting an error message. It just says "some files failed..."

Hey Tim,

I'm curious if the issue is something unique to just those files. What kind of files are they? If you add other new files to the Creative Cloud Files folder do they sync okay? Are you open to those files successfully in another app? Can you successfully make a copy of the the files outside of the Creative Cloud files folder? I'm wanting to ensure the files are not damaged in some way.

Thanks,

- Dave

Well, chalk one up to the weirdness of Windows. I tried installing CC on another user account on the same machine and it's working fine. I guess it's something goofy with the account. I'll post back if I ever figure it out, but for now I think I'll just move on!

Thanks Dave!
