1) Installed ADE v4 on new pc: the bookshelves ("All" - "Purchased" etc) are not showing

Also, previous epub books will not show; although when you "Add to library" ADE says: "Already in library"

Closed Digital Edition.
Rename the folder My Digital Edition under you Documents.

Start Digital Edition.
Then open the eBooks again.

So it was the plural "s" that was the gremlin.

OK - I could now add all BUT 1 to the Library and view and open.

One book, I added to library, and see in library - but, it come up with the need to authorize.

However, it does not accept the authorisation.... I only have one authorisation...... ?

Have you authorize Digital Edition (Help > Computer authorize)?

Yes, apologies - I should have said the book is not new, it was one that was on the old PC.

Here is issue:

1) All books are now visible in the library - thanks to your initial solution of renaming the folder

2) There is only one book that is visible, but not accessible (i.e. will not open) from the old PC Library which was copied over.

3) In attempting to open, it says: "Authorisation Needed: ..... needs to be authorised with a Vendor ID to open [name  of book] - I've authorised the PC! else, the others would not have worked either(?)

Can a book have a different authorisation than the  PC.  I'm using  the same Auth ID that was on the old PC.

Yes, all opened in old PC

In this case you must contact the reseller of the eBook to found the info which Adobe ID are linked with the eBook. Adobe has no access to the eBook itself. 😕 Und you and i also not.
