Hey,
For some reason I'm unable to authorize ADE for my Samsung R540 laptop. I've tried re-installation, de-authorization and checked the firewall settings, but the program still isn't able to authorize my id. No problems occurred with authorizing a Samsung R620, which was connected to the same wi-fi. What could be the problem?
This is the message I keep getting: "Connection error. Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet."
And I'm positive that I'm connected to the Internet.
Thanks for any help!

Try temporarily disabling firewall (and maybe even antivirus) and attempting to register.
One common problem that often has bizarre symptoms ~~~ not at all convinced it is the issue here but may be worth trying
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1). Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
