Hello ! I have the same problem and I had the same answer ! Did you manage to get this version of Adobe Digital Editions ? I cannot access the books I borrow with the 4.5 version...

I have the same problem, I can't find a link to download the Asobe Digital editions 3.0
Same situation a few months later....
