ADE HTML numbered lists

I am using Sigil to create a book that is meant to be read with Adobe Digital Editions.

Does ADE read ordered list "types"?

I want a lettered list within a numbered list, I have gotten this to work in my coding, as it appears correct in Sigil.

e.g. <ol type "a"> yet when I export it and open it in ADE it is not a lettered list but a numbered list.

So I am wondering if ADE just does not pay attention to that or if there is another way I can go about getting this lettered list, like I said my coding is right because it changes in Sigil and when I open it in Ibooks it has the letters as well..
