ADE not authorizing E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY

Wasn't reading my KOBO books I downloaded. 
I have reauthorized it,Had to delete the auth manually.

reloaded ADE 4.5.7


I can log in fine to the Adobe website.

but when i try to Authorize, to read and download my KOBO books, I get the message
E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY

No,

I tried https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/error-e_auth_bad_device_key.html

and this https://forums.adobe.com/message/10000350#10000350

unistall and reinstall

installing old version,

and all other solutions I found on web.

no results.

I think it's a bad bug and Adobe need resolve itself.

Uninstalling all, and reinstall version 3.0 works for me.

Hi there, I had exactly the same* problem and the solution in my case was weird but essential:
within the "keychain app", I needed to lock down "the lock" within the keychain app itself.

Once I locked it, the Adobe authorisation process went through.
