ADE requires re-authorize for my E reader

Adobe autobot unable to assist. I borrowed EPUB book from the library. I have Adobe ADE on laptop, I need to re-authorize my E reader. It doesn't tell you how to & adobe doesn't know

I removed and reinstalled it shows my Kobo libre H2O is recognized, however fails to download library EPUB book still. I work at a college and the IT people say there's problems with Adobe. Are you able to fix this problem?
