Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 for Windows is running to slow
Scrolling and Highlighting takes more than 3 to 5 seconds to work
Also, 1 out of 3 times it crashes when highlighting
Have tried reinstalling it and it does not work correctly
My kids PC is an Intel Pentium i7 with 16GB of RAM a 500GB SSD and a NVidia GTX graphics card running Windows 10 Pro. This should be enough for this little app.
I bought a Biology (Ebook) by Teresa Audesirk, Gerald Audesirk, Bruce E. Byers from Pierson but It looks like it is not working correctly and it is causing too much trouble for my kid to work on it
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I would appreciate it a lot

ADE is also extremely slow to launch. It takes anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds for the program to launch after you click its icon. Adobe should really fix this app ASAP.
