So, I seem to have the same issue as many others have had with Adobe Digital Edition, it stops working, with no true support or fix provided for by Adobe.
I followed all the advice on this forum and elsewhere on the internet.
1. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE 4.5.11 - many times
2. I renamed the folder to old
3. In the end I decided to go with another advice and download and install ADE 3 (a nightmare to get by the way). This worked for several hours until my computer crashed and upon trying to reopen ADE3.0 once restarted it now has the same issue as 4.5.11.
Please tell me there is some magical other way to get the purchased documents I have within ADE to be able to be viewed. This is now one of the worst products used on a computer I have ever seen, I will go out of my way to use Book Shelf or some other product even if it costs me more money on purchasing the textbook
