I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it from a fresh installer from the website. I've restarted my computer. I've uninstalled it using chocolatey and reinstalled it using chocolatey. I cycle through books fairly heavily so I deleted my book download folder. Before I stopped launching my last two books were broken so I'm not sure if that's related to it.

When i open Adobe Digital Editions. I get a blip on the task manager. I'm open to suggestions if you have any on things I can try to get this working again.
The advice in this other thread seems to work. No idea why it would matter suddenly when it's been working for years but I moved the install folder to PF instread of PF (x86) and it booted up.

I just fifnished a discussion with support ,4.5 ADE is not working anymore I tried everything of their solutions and nothing works, nothing ! Only older versions seem to wotk but can not be provided by ADE so that sucks a lot. When you contact them they try something (that never works) and then brush you off saying it is a free product with no support and go the community that also dont have a solution. For ACSM links from libraries and Kobo you need a working ADE so everone please complent about this awfull lack of service ,get them to provide the older vesrion 4.3. that still works. (i am fairly good with computers but none of their options (re-installing- adobe clean-up tool) works anymore) .
