I am trying to authorize on Adobe Digital Editions several ePub books purchased from Sony (for my now crashed Sony e-reader), so that I can transfer them to my new Nook Simple Touch e-reader. I transfered them into ADE; but when I try to open them I get a window telling me that authorization is needed. When I try to authorize my computer with my Adobe ID and password, I get a message saying "vendor account is not associated with the item you are trying to open." The only ebook vendor option I am given is Adobe. How do I authorize these books so that I can transfer them to my Nook to read on that device?
