When I go into my adobe digital edition and want to download my ebook it give me this message?

That's just the thing to post when you start off in the right forum. This is the forum for Adobe Reader, not Adobe Digital Editions. Please see my above message for the right place. Good luck!

Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state..

Try completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).

Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your Adobe ID.
