Can't open books from library to kobo iPad and galaxy 2 apps

Bought two books, they are in my library, can't download them (Safari) but get this notice: "The requested eBook title cannot be downloaded at this time due to difficulty in communicating with the retail site. Please try again later."


I want to read these books on my iPad and Galaxy 2 kobo apps -- neither is responding. I've upgraded my apps in both devices and rebooted.


Is there anything I can do? Other than wait for kobo to "fix" the problem at their end!?! Thanks.
