Installed DigitalEditions 3.0 on Win 8.1
Authorized the computer and DigitalEditions
Downloaded an ePub book from iTunes
Book opens and operates as designed in iPod touch, but will not open in DigitalEditions. "Will not open" is not really accurate -- it does "open," but the cover image does not display, text does not display, and the active links in the table of contents are not active in other words, the book does not "open."
Tried to open the book in Calibre, but the DRM will not allow the book to open -- very similar to what I'm getting from the DigitalEditions screen.
