Cannot access a previously purchased book

I am trying to access a book on Adobe Digital Editions and it says authorization needed, then when i sign in with my account it says - the vendor account you entered is not associated with item you are trying to open. Any help much appreciated.

Did you receive any answer from Adobe person? 

I called and I was told there were no support for Digital Editions
