cannot establish a connection...?

Hi!

So when I am asked to authorize my computer, it says authorizing with my established and verified adobe ID but then it says that there was a connection error, that it cannot connect to the activation server and that I am not connected to the internet (but I am...). What should I do so I can authorize my computer and start downloading books? Oh it also says the same thing when I click on the I want to authorize my computer without an ID.
