It seems that this is a common problem and therefore I have read and tried out all the tricks mentioned in the other discussions.
Have removed the "My Digital Editions" folder from the My Documents folder, uninstalled, reinstalled etc. etc. Nothing works.
I am obliged if some one can help on this topic.
