Digital edition download to IPad Safari eror message

i tried to install Adobe digital edition 4.0 on My IPad bit i got à message that Safari could not install this file???

You can't install it on an iPad. ADE can only be installed on a computer. And you can't download any program from Safari on an iPad. Apps must be downloaded from the App Store.

I could not write correct anywhere so I say it here instead. I intalled

Bluefire and it works very good. Thanks for answer.
