Digital Editions authorization error. "Activation Server Error. Code: E_Auth_Not_Ready".

In trying to authorize Digital Editions on my laptop, the following error comes up: "Activation Server Error. Code: E_Auth_Not_Ready". Please help.

I have the same issue; I have anew Mac and the even with new activation link, I can not access the digital edition of the book I have permission to use. I am getting the message: Activation Sever error- code E_ADEPT_INTERNAL
