Does anyone know how to scroll such that the program does not lag?

My computer is very fast, and new, but it lags horribly when I zoom in on the page of the book and scroll down. Does anyone know of a fix to this? My textbook website forces me to use digital editions and I have had a miserable experience. Thanks

If you read a book from a cloud, then you have a lot of network traffic. Your textbook must load a lot of pages at the same time. If you would download your book on your computer, it will be faster.
