Double Page View PDFs Digital Editions 3

I see a few questions on this website in reference double page view for PDFs in Digital Editions 3, but no answer. Please let me know if I'm just missing the option in the software or let me know if this option will be available in the future.

On the Reading menu, "Double-page View" is grayed out.

WHY IS THAT?

Do Adobe employees ever stoop to answer questions in this forum?

OverDrive and Libby put this program to shame.
