Ebook shows only the first page of every chapter

I have downloaded an ebook but I can access only few pages on ADE.

I am using Adobe Digital Editions and I have other .epub files that I can read without any problem. I tried to download the file many times and on different machines but all I can see are the initail pages and the first page of every chapter, I cannot access any page in between. i tried to uninstall ADE and to reinstall it but I still have the same problem.

The publisher keeps on sending me the file but I still can read only a limited amount of pages. unfortunately they don't have the book in PDF format.

My laptop runs Windows Vista

Can anybody help?

Seems a error with the file itself. Have the publisher check if he can open the file collectly befor you get a new file?
