Ebook wont open on ereader bc it says I deauthorized the device but I didn't!

Where can I find a  safe download of adobe digital edition 3.0  for a MAC?

I have uploaded adobe digital editions 4.0. I Have the library ebook showing in the library view. Then I uploaded it to my e-reader, I can see it on  my e-reader but it won't open. A message tells me I am not authorized to use Digital Editions because I deauthorized my e-reader. But I didn't. I have redone the whole process (uninstalled app etc... ) and still get that message.

Called Kobo and they told me to download ADE 3.0 or 2.0. Can't find any safe place to download it from? Kobo sent me to Adobe.

Very frustrating since  Adobe has no helpline for this.
