I bought an ebook but, when I loaded the url.acsm it in Digital Editions, occur this message: "Error! Check Activation".

My Digital Edition is version 4.03. OS Windows 7.

Do you have any suggestions ?

I've got exactly the same problem. I uninstalled en reininstalled Digital Editions, didn't work. Then I tried to remove my authorization in order re-authorise, but removal was impossible. ADE suggested I'd try again later...

Suggestions are welcome!

Thanx,

Patrizio

I've got exactly the same problem. I install the version 4, remove it, put the version 3, remove it and put the version 2 but it's the same error: "error check activation". How can I fix it?

Normally, erasing authorization and re-authorizing corrects the issue.

There is some sort of widespread issue with ID authentication today.  Not getting much feedback, but it should be resolved sooner rather than later.  Once it is, de-authorizing and re-authorizing should correct this issue.
