Error getting license. License server Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR

I cannot open my ebook from Google Play. I get the error reading Error getting license. License server Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR. When I contacted Google Support they said it was an issue with Adobe Digital Editions software. Please help.
