Error returning item please authorise computer first

I try to return a book and receive the above error message, I go to help and  "authorise computer is greyed out, click on authorisation information and detail is shown.

What can I do?

LATEST

You can try "erase authorisation" under help and then re-authorising. I'm having a similar issue.
