font size won't increase in an epub library loan
Checked out ebook The Achievement Habit from San Jose library and selected epub.
Downloaded title and it opens in ADE 4.x fine.
Went to the upper right font size drop down and chose a larger font, but, there was no change in the on screen font size

To increase the font size place your two fingers on the screen and spread them apart until font is desired size. To decrease the font size place two fingers on the screen and squeeze together until font is desired size. Give the document a couple of seconds to reformat after each font size change.

robindaning's suggestion did not work for me. I do not have a touch screen! (Most people don't). ADE's font control does not work on my Win 10 Dell 5755.

On a computer w/o a touchscreen you would do it on the trackpad, but this didn't work on my macbook.

Using Adobe Digital Editions on a Mac with the same problem. The type size on the screen is about at 8 points, and the EPub text size is set at "Extra Large". This is a pretty poor Kindle alternative IMHO.

So, 8 years and this *still* isn't fixed! Seriously, ADE is a pathetic application and should be shuttered. The Kindle app is far and away the best e-reader I've used. Axis 360 was okay (light years better than ADE), but still not great. The most basic function of an e-reader is rendering text. If you can't get that right, you really don't have a reason to exist.
