Hi,
I have had some problems lately reading books from my local library using my eReader and Digital Editions 4.0.
I have Windows 7 SP1, and version 4.0 is the only one that seems to work on my system.
Anyways, I deactivated ADE from my computer, and re-activated it. I AM ABLE to activate ADE on my computer.
When I try to activate my eReader to use that same licencde for Rights Management,
I get this message:
Limit of Number of Machines Allowed per ID Reached
code: E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS http://deactivate.adobe.com/adept/Activate
10000:570:10000 urn:uuid:6d31a3bb-97ce-4e7d-87f8-5d16cd94c8f6
From what I can tell, I will have to get the number of devices reset, so I can try to re-activate it again. I do not know who can, or how this is to be done.
I contaced Adobe Technical Support, and I was refered to this forum.
Sincerely,
Ken Martin
