Help needed in authorization issues

OK; I've visited the Adobe Helps center and chatted with two different experts, and they sent me here: 

My Adobe Digital Editions has big troubles in authorization information: I try to download a book from University Library (have already used that service many times successfully). Not there comes troubles in authorizing my computer OR my device, or sending the book to my device... 

I've erased my computer authorization and renewed it a few times. That seems to work correctly, but when I try to open the book, I get an error note: The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you tried to open... However, I just managed to open that item before, but not to send it to my device... Then I'm also unable to return the book to the library... 

Also the app Help page says that I've already authorized my device (PocketBook), but still when I try to send the book I borrowed, I get an error note. 

Seems like there's a big mess in the code. I'm so grateful for help. Thank you.
