I'm using a PC with Windows 11 ~~

OK, I feel stupid. I installed Digital Editions to find a certain section in an ascm book. I entered a keyword & hit Search, assuming I could advance through the book to every instance of the word till I found the part I want. Instead, nothing happened. Search is working only if the word I want is on the page I am looking at. If the word is present on the current page, it will be highlighted. If there are several instances of the word on that page, search will advance through all the instances on the current page, but will not advance on to other pages that contain the word-- ie, if the word shows up 3 times on the page, Search will highlight the word & cycle through the 3 instances indefinitely. It does not move on to highlight the word 8 pages earlier or later.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to search the entire book for a keyword, or does it only work on the currently visible page?
