How to disable Adobe Pro DC Trial version?

New Here ,

Hi,

I bought the Adobe Pro DC version, but prior to that I installed the trial version. At the moment, I seem to have both the purchased and the trial one on my computer.  To my (growing) annoyance, when I open a pdf document, the trial one starts first.  How can I recognize which file is the trial and which one is the one I purchased, so I can uninstall the trial version from my computer?

Also, on my computer in Applications I have the following files and folders related to Adobe:

Adobe folder (blue)

Adobe Acrobat 2015

Adobe Acrobat DC

Adobe Creative Cloud

Abbe Digital Editions 4.5. app

Adobe Digital Editions. app

Adobe Download Assistant.app

Adobe Reader 7.0.5

Why do I have so many Adobe's on my computer and the Pro is not opening when I want it? Please help!

So I decided to delete (put in the trash) Adobe Acrobat DC, and now even though I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on the computer which I purchased, pdf files refuse to open. I have to open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC first and then the document will show up.

This is sheer madness! I brought the previous file from back from the trash, and the pdf files automatically open with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. However, when I try to edit a file, Adobe crashes each time.  I cannot even view a pdf file because in 2-3 minutes the program crashes.
