How to unlock book

I need to know why I can'tunlock my textbooks but I can read other things that are not locked. the book downloads and the screen opens up but it won't allowme to touch in theboxes to type in my ID and password to unlock the textbook.  It's really frustrating.

I don't use ebooks, but my impression is that your question should really go in the Digital Editions forum: Adobe Digital Editions

Are you using Adobe Reader or Digital Editions?

Are your books in pdf format?

I'm not sure the download on my files just says Adobe Acrobat. My books all open up on my desktop... Yes they are pdf.
