I cannot download my ebooks from my PC to my Lenco ereader. It says that I don't have permission to copy

I have ebooks in my Adobe Digital Editions library.    When I try to transfer the ebooks to my Lenco e-reader it says that CE_Copy_Not_Allowed.  No permission to copy the book.   In the past I have been able to copy the ebooks to my ereader
