I cannot drag a book from adobe digital editions to my kobo-mini.

I get books from the Washington Anytime Library and download them as EPUBs to my Adobe Digital Editions.  I can't get them to my kobo, either by dragging or using the move instruction (it's gray.)  I've worked on this with help people at the library, Kobo, and my IT guy.
