I just installed Adobe Digital Editions 3.0, can I uninstall version 2.0 still in Programs?

I just installed Adobe Digital Editions 3.0, on my Dell laptop, running Win 8.1. Can I uninstall Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 that still shows up in the Programs and Features control panel?

Moved to Adobe Digital Editions.

You can uninstall version 2.0, but that may break 3.0. If it does just re-install 3.0.
